Created for the wedding invitation of Robert and Jamie Sherman, this painting depicts Canticle of the Sun, a faceted glass rose window designed by Gabriel Loire of Chartres in 1964. It is based on a hymn by St. Francis of Assisi that describes the divine unity of creation.
